We spent four days exploring the Smoky Mountains and taking on the infamous Dragon Tail drive.
Alex's goal was to visit all 50 states by the time he turned 30. Hawaii was to be #50, the final state - it was a celebratory trip. Our personal mission while in Maui was to take on the legendary drive, the Road to Hana.
With 22 legendary historic squares dispersed throughout one of the largest downtown areas I have seen, walking the city was nothing short of delightful.
The western Caribbean cruise was a leisurely friend-cation - with 7 total in our group. We all wanted to visit as many new countries as we could.
We went to Jamaica with no agenda, just hoping to relax and take in the experience.
We wanted to check out the Miraflores district of Peru’s capital city, Lima. Miraflores is chalk-full of pretty parks, visiting as many as we could was how we spent most of our time in the city.
There are 7 lighthouses along the North Carolina coast, 5 of which are located on the barrier islands, an area known as the Outer Banks. Visiting them all was a sandy scavenger hunt.
